Business Development Representative
SUMMARY
The Business Development Representative will work towards the expansion of On Hold Marketing Works through active networking, outreach, and other sales tactics.
REPORTING TO
Sales & Marketing Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and call on a network of contacts within target industries who regularly use the phone as a primary form of customer service, operations, and/or sales

Target companies within these industries who do not currently use on hold advertising services
-
Present on hold messaging services formally in person as well as over the phone.

Respond to inquiries from the website within a 1 hour timeframe (2 hours maximum) during business hours

Attend and be a respresentative of OHMW at the On Hold Association annual events

Actively connect with potential clients on LinkedIn and utilize Social Media to promote the brand

Cold call at least 15 to 20 potential new clients per day

Cultivate and maintain relationships with accounts sold

Act as a problem solver when issues arise in customer accounts

Participate in tradeshows and other industry events

Follow up on leads gained from events attended, and maintain a sales spreadsheet

Assist the OHMW Management team in developing new ideas to improve our service to customers
REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES

Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business, Communications or other relevant field

At least 5 years of proven outside sales experience, OR 3 or more years of inside sales with 2 years of outside sales experience

Ability to work independently

Ability to use Social Media, such as but not limited to: LinkedIn and Twitter

Must at all times act in a professional business manner
